The Stover Mill Community Association Board of Directors has compiled a list of frequently asked questions. If you do not find an answer to your question here, contact us at 215.343.1550 or board@stovermill.org.

Are the Board Members paid for their time?
Board and Committee members are volunteers from our community. Board and Committee members do not receive compensation, discounts, or special consideration.

Are the Board of Directors and the Architectural Review Committee the same people?
Not necessarily. It is not uncommon for some Board Members to serve on the Architectural Committee, however the committee is often made up of other homeowners within our community.

Why do the Quarterly Association Fees increase?
Costs of services, such as trash and snow removal, increase over time. The Board of Directors adjusts the budget as needed and may choose to increase the Quarterly Assessment, allowing us to meet the demands and continue to improve our community.

I see some houses in our neighborhood that have features that I want on my own home. Why can’t I obtain Architectural Approval?
Different sections of houses were constructed by the builder using different materials than other houses. These materials may not be used on houses that were not included in the original construction with those materials.

Some owners have made modifications to their townhome without obtaining Board Approval. These units cannot be used as a justification for other violations. If an architectural violation occurs, the home owner may have to restore the home to its original condition at their own expense. Please do not risk this unneeded expense and submit an Architectural Request Form to receive approval or additional information if you wish to change your home

I submitted for membership to the Yahoo! Group, but it was rejected - Why?
The Yahoo! Group is restricted to Stover Mill homeowners and residents. If you did not provide your name and address when applying for membership, you will not be permitted to join.

The Yahoo! Group is used to provide a central internet-based location for residents and homeowners to discuss various topics. Members will be barred from joining the group if they are abusive or use offensive language.

NOTICE - If you make an exterior change to your house or property without prior written approval from the Board of Directors, you may be required to your house to its original condition - at your expense.
