Whirlpool is recalling Glass Cooktops that were sold at Home Depot, Lowe’s, Best Buy and other retail locations, due to burn and fire hazards. The units included in the recall were manufactured from December 2016 through July 2019, bearing the Whirlpool, JennAir and KitchenAid brand.
If you have one of the recalled units, turn off its electricity at the circuit breaker and contact Whirlpool for a free installation of a replacement cooktop.
