The Bulk and Recycling Center is temporarily closed, and PECO is removing trees along York Road.
Bulk and Recycling Center
Due to recent damage caused by our trash contractor to the rolling gate at the bulk items and recycling facility, all recycling and bulk access has been temporarily disabled, until further notice. The gate will be replaced as quickly as possible.
PECO Tree Removal
PECO will be installing utility poles and overhead electric lines along York Road. As part of this process, they will be removing approximately 25 trees near our main entrance. PECO has indicated that the tree stumps will not be removed from the ground, and that replacement trees will not be planted.
The Board of Directors does not have the authority to stop this work, however the Board is negotiating with PECO to have the area properly restored once work is completed.
